Well here are some recent pictures. They are from my phone so you know. I am back to work and that is going well for me. Nic and Carter are still adjusting. Although being back at work has made me realize how much sleep I have not been getting. The thing is when one goes down the other gets up. I can't wait till we start feeding this kid real food, breast milk just does not stay in them long enough sometimes.

This is my favorite picture of carter. She is so cute and smily. Went back to work this week and it is going well.

Here are a few pics from our latest fun.

Here is Miss Carter Catherine. She was born on Sept. 1st, 9lbs 2oz, 21in . I started having contractions at about 6:30 in the morning and she was born right before 10 am. Apparently when I go into labor that is it. I was scheduled for an induction that day(yes it was before my due date) So, when i got there I told them I thought I was in labor all ready. So they sent me to registration. Then I went to my room got changed and the nurse came in. I let her know too that I was all ready in labor and she said okay let me get your blood drawn and iv started and then i will check you. Okay... Well there were problems getting my iv started. So while she is working on that I feel a gush of warm water and I did not pee my self. That got the nurse moving. let's see what you are... a 5 okay now we start calling people. About 20min later one more check because I was starting to huff and puff by then oh you are 7. hey let's get that anesthesia guy and his cart of goodness in here!!! So the nurse is taring things open and I am trying not to kill someone. This I think is where the miracle comes into play, I did not kill anyone that day. So here we go the goodness cart finally arrives and a doctor that is not mine. What you want me to sit up to get the epidural!!! If I had not been in so much pain and could have talked better, I would have called him a Pansy who can't do a spinal with a pt on their side! Then my doctor walks in, let's do this I got to push!!!!! I was nice to have the epidural for the last 5-10 contractions what ever!! And she was out!!! Total time in labor 3 hours! Working the day before might have helped who knows!!!!!

Happy Birthday Cooper!!!! We had Cooper's 1st birthday this week. I can't believe that he is already a year old. He is doing all those things that one year olds do. Grandma and Grandpa Schagel even come up for the event. I mean who could pass up a chocolate fountain and a bounce house. Thanks to all that came and celebrate with us.

So it has been a long time since my last post but that is what happens when little fingers get where they are not suppose to be. We went for my official ultrasound and guess what we found... a little girl curled up in there!!! And no that is not a bow on her head it is her hand. Every thing seems to be going well. I am feeling good no vomiting or any of that. I am working at the ER three days a week. St. Marks is opening a new ER in Draper which is 5 min from my house and I was offered a position there as well. So I will work two shifts at the new ER and one at my old ER. The new ER is called St Mark's- Lone Peak and we open May 25th!!

Okay so here it is...... Some of you have found out by now that we are expecting again. In layman's terms I am pregnant!!! Are you in shock too. So are we since this was not planned. Cooper will only be 16-17 months when the next one appears. My Ob even said isn't this a bit soon for you to be seeing me again. Poor lady she thought she was going to get rid of me for awhile. I did thank her for not telling me that you are really fertile 6-7 months post pregnancy. She then told me I should have breast feed longer and that might have helped. All right so is it ok to breast feed till he is 16!!!! Yuck! Yah right this kid was coming no matter what we did. So my due date is September 10th. So I am approx 13 weeks right now. You can all pick your jaws up off the floor and remember to breath.

This last week we went to Colorado for a little ski /snow vacation. Here are a few pic from sledding. Nic was able to ski 4 days while we were there. The first day he went he had 17 inches powder from that night before and 45 inches total for the storm that weekend. It was a great trip. Almost all of my family came up from arizona for the fun!! I will try to download some of the vedio.

Here is Cooper and his friend Zach. My friend Amiee was so nice to watch Cooper for me on Thursday. They had a great time playing together. Cooper is two months older than Zach. So he was showing Zach how cool crawling is.
